OnzeRit

Identity-checked drivers. Rules you can read. No cut of the rate.

Dutch carriers post time-boxed transport work, identity-verified drivers signal when they can do it, and a rules-based score from 0 to 100 ranks them. Both sides can sign a contract in the app and rate each other afterwards.

Related party: OnzeRit is not an arm's-length customer. Three of its four shareholders are on our own team, and two more of us advise it without equity. This is our own product, not a sale we won. It has not launched yet.

One sign-up, two sides

Carriers and drivers sign up once and choose a side. Seven guided tasks then take each of them to their first real step.

  • Drivers say how they work and can add vehicles with plates; no payment details are asked
  • Carriers enter their company, KvK and VAT details, fleet size and segment, and choose a subscription plan
  • Company details fill in from the Dutch business register (KvK) when the platform has a KvK API key
  • Each consent given is saved as a receipt with its document version, a masked IP address and the browser
  • Seven guided tasks on the platform's Getting Started page tick off when the real action happens

Deployments and availability

Carriers post time-boxed transport work on their own terms. Drivers say when and how far they can work.

  • A deployment has a vehicle type, Dutch pickup and drop-off addresses, a window of 30 minutes to 30 days and an offered rate in euros
  • Cancellation terms on each deployment: a fixed amount or a share of the rate, by hours before the start
  • Drivers set up to 50 weekly time windows and 50 blackout dates in Dutch local time, plus a home postcode and a travel radius on a map
  • Drivers browse open deployments by pickup city, start date and vehicle type, with the cancellation terms up front
  • Six vehicle types out of the box, from passenger car and van to truck with trailer and cargo bike

A score both sides can read

Each driver gets a score from 0 to 100 for each deployment, from fixed rules, with a plain reason for every factor. There is no AI in it.

  • Distance and availability must both pass: the pickup inside the driver's own radius, and the driver's windows covering the whole deployment
  • Only drivers whose identity a person has approved in the platform's verification module can see a score, signal or be confirmed
  • The carrier sees signalling drivers ranked by score and confirms one; that single step declines the others and issues the contract
  • Signals still open when a deployment starts expire on their own, and the driver is told

Contracts, outcomes and ratings

Every confirmed deployment gets a written contract, a recorded outcome and ratings on both sides.

  • A contract from a versioned template, with frozen terms and a SHA-256 fingerprint that every view checks again
  • Both sides can sign in the app; each signature leaves a timestamped receipt, and the contract prints from the browser
  • The carrier records whether the work took place; anything left unrecorded completes after 14 days
  • Both sides rate each other from 1 to 5 stars within 30 days
  • A reliability score for each driver, built from outcomes, withdrawn signals, unpaid cancellation fees and carrier ratings

Cancellation terms

Either side can cancel before the window ends. Agreed fees are frozen into the contract, and the operator can switch on tracking of whether they were paid.

  • A preview of any fee owed before a cancellation goes through
  • Fee tiers frozen into the contract at confirmation, so later edits never change a signed deal
  • With tracking on, the payer marks a fee paid and the payee confirms or disputes it
  • OnzeRit only records these statements: it holds no money, pays nobody and does not judge disputes

A flat subscription, no cut of the rate

Carriers pay a flat subscription and drivers use it free. OnzeRit takes nothing from the offered rate.

  • Monthly or annual plans that the operator sets up, with the plan's free trial if it has one
  • No per-deployment, per-match or success fee
  • Carriers add a card or a SEPA Direct Debit mandate through Stripe before their first deployment, on the operator's own account
  • Only a carrier with a trial or active subscription can open deployments and confirm drivers
  • A billing page with plan, status, trial end, next charge and payment method

Dashboards and notices

Dashboards change with the role, and notices arrive in the app as things happen. Its screens and notices are in English, Dutch and German; contracts and the server's error messages are in English only.

  • Carriers see open signals, matches confirmed this week, average time from signal to confirmation and the match success rate
  • In-app notices for 16 events, from a confirmed match to a signed contract and a new rating
  • Its own database schema of 20 tables, with a permission check and a rate limit on every endpoint
  • A write sent with a retry key is not applied twice within 24 hours
  • Runs as a module on the CleverInit platform, together with its customers, subscriptions, payments and verification modules

Worth knowing: OnzeRit is built for the Netherlands: Dutch addresses and postcodes, euros and the KvK register. It checks a driver's identity only. Licences and qualifications are for the carrier to check, and OnzeRit makes no decision about employment status.
